Introduction
This page explains, in plain language, what little data this site collects and what it is used for. This site is a personal portfolio — it does not run ads, does not sell data, and does not share information with marketing or analytics companies.
What data is collected
Theme preference: when you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key "retro-theme". It never leaves your device and is not sent to any server.
Language preference: the language you see is determined entirely by the URL path you visit (for example /en or /pt-BR). No separate language setting is stored about you.
Contact form: if you submit the contact form, the name, email address, and message you provide are stored in a Supabase database (in a table called "contact_messages") so that the site owner can read and reply to your message. Submitting the form is optional and only happens if you choose to send a message.
Blog: reading blog posts on this site does not require an account and does not involve collecting any personal data about you.
Third parties and tracking
This site does not currently use any analytics tools, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking cookies. The only third-party service involved is Supabase, which is used solely as the database that stores contact form submissions. Your contact form data is not shared with any other company or used for advertising.
Your rights and contact
If you submitted the contact form and would like your message removed, corrected, or you simply have a question about this policy, email uisam@uisam.com.br and it will be handled directly by the site owner.
